The Farmer's New Addition
There once was a farmer who owned luscious pastures. He proudly looked over them everyday. He always took care of all of his animals.
Though one day he had brought in a new foal, a chestnut coloured one, that he thought was adorable.
He got him on the farm but the foal looked nervous so he stroked his fur and though it felt as soft as he’d ever imagined it felt unusual, he then housed it in the stable and got to work.
A few days later whilst herding some sheep he felt a strange sensation in his legs. A small tingling. He looked down to see hew was covered in hair from the waist down and most strangely of all, he had hooves. These new legs of his forced him to naturally bend over. He found this fall to be gracefully cushioned by another pair of hooves on his newly hairy arms. Then suddenly his vision had become so impaired he could see for more of what was beside him than what was in front of him. Then after bursting out of all of his clothes he realised… He had become a mule. After clocking this he blacked out.
He woke up in bed with his wife reassuringly stroking his human-like arm. She said “Darling, you’ve been in bed all afternoon, are you alright?”.
He replied “I’m mostly okay, I just felt a little hoarse”.
